Space & Production Rental Rates + Booking Policies
All rentals are subject to availability, confirmation, and execution of The Activist Kitchen Rental Agreement.

Hourly Rental Rates
Rehearsal / Technical Rehearsal
$130 per hour
Includes:
- Use of space
- One (1) on-site technician
- Intended for rehearsals, run-throughs, cue-to-cue, and technical preparation
Greenscreen Studio
$130 per hour
Includes:
- Greenscreen studio access
- One (1) on-site technician
- Intended for filming, interviews, and digital content production
- Recommended for small crews (generally 1–5 people)
Basic Event Rental
$225 per hour
Includes:
- Event space rental
- One (1) on-site technician
- One (1) house manager
- One (1) door person
- Suitable for panels, readings, screenings, and community events
Large Event / Performance Event
$275 per hour
Includes:
- Event space rental
- Lead technician and production support
- House manager
- Door person
- Enhanced sound and lighting support
Capacity:
- Maximum attendance: up to 50 people
- Final capacity determined by room configuration and safety requirements
Film Production Rental (Crews Over 5 People)
$350 per hour
Includes:
- Full venue access
- Production lead and dedicated technical staff
- Use of Kino Flo lighting package
- Professional video recording support (as applicable)
- Intended exclusively for film and media productions
Requirements:
- Required for productions with more than five (5) people on site
- Not available for live events or ticketed audiences
Day Rate Bundles
(Must be booked in advance; consecutive hours only)
Rehearsal / Greenscreen Day Rate
$975 — 8 hours
Includes space access and one (1) technician
Event Day Rate (Up to 50 People)
$1,800 — 8 hours
Includes staffing and production support appropriate for large events
Film Production Day Rate
$2,400 — 8 hours
Includes full production staffing and Kino Flo lighting access
Required for film productions with crews over five (5) people
Minimums & Billing
Minimum booking: One (1) hour
Billing increments: After the first hour, time may be billed in 30-minute increments
Load-in and load-out time: must be included in total booked hours
Overtime: Billed in 30-minute increments at the applicable rate
Late-Night & After-Hours Policy
- Any time after 12:00 AM (midnight) that is not booked in advance will be billed at double the applicable hourly rate
- After-hours availability is subject to staff approval and is not guaranteed
Deposit Requirement
- A one (1) hour, non-refundable deposit at the applicable rate is required to secure all bookings
- Dates are not held without receipt of deposit
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made more than 72 hours prior to the scheduled rental forfeit the deposit only
- Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled rental may be billed up to the full contracted amount
- Day-rate cancellations within 72 hours are non-refundable
Insurance Requirements
- Film productions, ticketed events, and events involving elevated risk require proof of general liability insurance
- Insurance must name The Activist Kitchen as additionally insured when required
- Insurance requirements are determined at the discretion of The Activist Kitchen
Force Majeure
The Activist Kitchen shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond reasonable control, including acts of God, fire, flood, power outages, government orders, or civil unrest. Reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule, subject to availability.
Additional Terms
- Staffing levels, equipment access, and final capacity are determined by The Activist Kitchen based on operational and safety needs
- Additional staff, equipment, or services may be required and billed accordingly
- All rentals are subject to venue rules and a signed rental agreement
